Carol and James

The recent portrait session with Carol and James emphasised why it is so useful holding a pre wedding portrait session as Carol was just a tiny bit nervous beforehand. But once we'd got into the swing of the session - which we held at East Carlton Park - she turned out to be a natural!

They're having a lovely intimate wedding just before Christmas at Rushton Hall.

Here are a few images of 'the naturals':

Hollie and Ian

Ian proposed to Hollie at Rushton Hall, so what better location could they have chosen for their first pre wedding portrait session.

We met up there one gloriously sunny afternoon a few weeks ago, and these are some of my favourites:

Alexandra and Steve

Alexandra and Steve's wedding is in mid Setember. They're getting married in Kibworth and holding their reception at one of my favourite local restaurants, Boboli.

They were back up from down south a few weekends ago and we met up for a few portraits:

Lizzie and Jon

Lizzie and Jon's wedding is just over three weeks away. They get married in Elton and then have their reception at the fabulous Rockingham Castle.

I caught up with them a few weeks ago in Elton for a few portraits to 'break the ice'.

Here are a few of the images from our wander around the village:

Katie and Aird - take two!

Katie and Aird also get married in late July, in fact, just a couple of days after Sadrina and Mike.

They're getting married a bit nearer to home, at Hothorpe Hall, and I met up with them last month for a second portrait session so that we've really broken the ice before their big day.

Here are a few favourites:

Sadrina and Mike

Here's the first of a few pre wedding portrait sessions that need blogging, Sadrina and Mike.

They're getting married down in Essex in late July and I caught up with them early in April, late one sunny afternoon (remember those days?), on the shores of Rutland Water.

Here are a few favourites:

Rebecca and Daniel

Rebecca and Daniel are busy planning their summer wedding and I met up with them this morning to break the ice with some portraits and for a catch up on how their plans are coming along.

Without giving the game away they have some fantastic plans and ideas for their big day, and it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'll say no more, but watch out for the blog post in the summer...

This morning we wandered in the woodland near their home, with some lovely textures and colours in the woods and from an old church as a backdrop.

Here's a small selection of images:

I'll catch up with you both soon, and do my homework in the meantime!

Marina and Stuart

It's now less than a three weeks to Marina and Stuart's wedding.

They have a late afternoon wedding in Ashley, Northants, with their reception following at The Barn in Ashley.

I caught up with them on a cold, late afternoon a couple of days ago for a few portraits:

We're looking forward to seeing you very soon!

Anna and Stuart

After the recent sessions down south it was back a bit nearer to home on Monday when I caught up with Anna and Stuart at East Carlton Park.

They get married next summer at the fabulous Rockingham Castle and we caught up for an early pre-wedding portrait session to break the ice and get used to working together.

The autumn leaves were lovely and colourful and made a great setting.

Lisa and Tristan

Lisa and Tristan's wedding is getting nearer! They get married in early December at Noseley Hall.

We caught up today to discuss their latest plans and to take a few portraits around Market Harborough. When we agreed the date a few weeks ago we thought that meeting up and going into town on a Sunday would be nice and quiet. Ha! Little did we know that it would be packed for the annual Arts Fresco event, with lots of people in town waiting for the street artists who were performing throughout the afternoon.

Here are a few images caught while dodging the crowds:

And keeping ahead of the crowd...

...before a parade of giant red ants!

LIsa and Tristan, we look forward to seeing you on your big day.

Emma and David

Emma and David are getting married in January at the fabulous Rushton Hall.

The weather at that time of year may be a bit less predictable that it is now, and the hours of daylight will certainly be shorter, so we met up at Rushton Hall recently for a catch up and some portraits.

Predictably (!), the mid July weather was overcast and threatening rain, but it didn't stop us going for a wander around the grounds. Here are a few early favourites:
