Food photography Market Harborough and Rushden

Last summer I posted some images of the fabulous food at The Boot Room Eaterie in Leicester and The Three Swans Hotel in Market Harborough.

I went back to The Three Swans recently to photograph some of their new seasonal dishes and, believe me, they do taste as good as they look!

And a couple of weeks later I went over to The John White Golf Club in Rushden to photograph some dishes for Darren Garley, of Garley Catering Services. Again, some lovely dishes to photograph and the ones that I tasted were very good indeed!

Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum!

My passion is photographing people but recently I've been developing another photographic passion, photographing food.

Earlier in the month I photographed the fabulous Boot Room restaurant in Leicester and some of the delicious dishes that Stephen and his team serve there (I've had the king scallops and Clonakilty black pudding three times already!).

This morning I was photographing food at The Three Swans Hotel in Market Harborough, and here are some of the mouthwatering dishes that chef Greg Prangnell and his team produce:

If these dishes taste as fabulous as they look then diners at The Three Swans are really in for a treat!

The Boot Room

One of my favourite local restaurants is The Joiners Arms, at Bruntingthorpe and I've got to know Stephen, the chef owner, after a number of visits to eat there over the years. He kindly hosted a charity dinner for me several years ago when I was raising money for a charity trek in Vietnam, and a couple of years ago I was delighted to photograph his family.

Recently Stephen has launched a new restaurant in the centre of Leicester, The Boot Room in Millstone Lane, and I was delighted to go down there and photograph the restaurant and a small selection of their dishes earlier in the week. And a bit of action in the kitchen, too!

Here is a small selection of the images and I can confirm that the 'props' tasted as good as they looked!!

If you're going in to Leicester and want to try somewhere new with fabulous food, look no further than The Boot Room.
